We are Klaraki, a small family olive project from Koroni, Messinia, Greece. This policy explains what personal data we collect through klaraki.com, why we need it, who we share it with, and what your rights are. We keep it short and we only collect what we really need.

Your "Find my tree" page
Each tree has its own page with a private code (for example NR-0007-K4P). Anyone with the code can open the page, so please share it only with people you choose. The page is hidden from search engines. It shows your tree's photos and its exact location in our grove. It shows your first name only if you ask us to. Your dedication is never shown on the page.
Who we share data with
Only with the services we need to run Klaraki:
- our website and hosting provider (GoDaddy / Airo),
- our payment provider,
- our email service (MailerLite),
- the postal or courier service that delivers your parcel and, for parcels to the USA, the customs-duty service and the US Food and Drug Administration (the "prior notice" required for food parcels), which need the recipient's name and address,
- our accountant, for invoices.
- Meta (Facebook Messenger and Instagram), if you choose to message us there. Meta processes those messages under its own privacy policy; we only use them to answer you.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. When they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist and newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Tree and order data: for as long as your adoption or subscription lasts, and afterwards for as long as Greek tax law requires.
- Family map: until you ask us to remove your pin.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@klaraki.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or to the authority in your own country.
Children
Our site is not aimed at children under 16. If you are buying a tree for a child, you, the adult, give us the details.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, if the change is important, we will email you.
